I highly recommend Melody's. Comprehensive business approach in one package that included professional contract detailing the project. Steps including photos of items displayed on website building up to sale. Home was well staged moving customers in a safe and logistical manner. Prices determined in a professional manner. Sale was well documented and proceeds allocated promptly. Hard to imagine how the house would have been readied for sale without Melody's. John

Melody and her ladies were absolutely amazing!! They handled an enormous estate sale at my parents' house in Elkhart. When I first had Melody out to go discuss their doing the sale, I was concerned she would say no because there was SO MUCH STUFF!! I was extremely impressed with the knowledge about the items in the house and was astonished with the professionalism they used getting everything organized, set up, and sold. I want to thank Tom and Melody for a wonderful job they did. I inherited my mother’s home and belongings and live in Illinois. My husband and I needed to clear out the home quickly because of the pending closing date. They worked us in their busy schedule and made the job so easy for us especially since we live two hours away. They are very professional, organized, caring and very trust worthy. My husband and I enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend their services. When we returned to town after the sale the house was very clean and the white carpeting I was worried about was unharmed. The whole process could not have gone any better. Thank you Tom and Melody!

OMG! We just finished a sale conducted by Tom, Melody, and the ladies. From the day they came in to empty cupboards, price things to the last day of the sale everything was conducted in a very professional manner. After the sale they packed of the leftover items and cleaned my house. What a wonderful group of people who enjoy what they do.....even in ninety-seven degree weather! They treated every customer with a smile and respect. If you are looking for a group to come into your home to conduct a sale look no further. I even received calls the day after the sale from people commenting on what a pleasure it was to be at the sale. Also, their advertising reached folks far and wide. They have a great following of customers.

Our first time attended your sales. Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed it. When we arrived , there were over 70 people waiting to get into this sale. I was concerned on how long we would have to wait in the heat. Surprisingly , you were VERY speedy getting us all in the home. I loved how organized everything was. All the workers were pleasant and VERY helpful. I so wanted something special to remember the Murphy Guest House Bed and Breakfast and I was able to find a treasure . We attended BOTH of your sales in Kokomo this past weekend. The one that started Thursday on Carter St. I was able to purchase many lovely items.....Joe got MORE garage items!
The Friday SALE on North St. Loads of fabric....and baskets!~ Your staff was wonderful at BOTH sales.(as always) I love to attend your sale and traveled to do so. See you at the next one! And the icing on the cake is you had TWO to attend. I even came back on Saturday.

I am very pleased to recommend Tom and Melody's services. They were a tremendous help with my mother's estate. Since I was 4 hours away, I worried about having someone in the home, but Tom and Melody were incredibly professional and communicated with me along every step of the way. I was very impressed by their agreements--no hidden charges, and everything clearly defined--and their documentation of everything that sold. I was very pleased with the results of the sale as well as their leaving the home clean and tidy after the sale. I would recommend them 100% over the three other businesses I spoke with in northern Indiana.

The marketing was excellent, the set up of our home was handled perfectly, our items sold for more than we ever thought we would receive, we didn't have to do anything and best of all we sold almost everything. I wish I had know about Melody's Whole House Estate Sales when my Mother passed away. We couldn't have been more pleased!

I was moving from a 12 room house to a 4 room house and was apprehensive about selling the large amount of household items that were left behind. Melody's Estate Sale was recommended by a friend. The entire experience from beginning to end was positive. Any misgiving I had vanished completely. Tom's friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner was reassuring so all the decisions very easy to make. All of the items were labeled clearly and displayed well. The prices were marked to sell so they did sell well. In addition to this, after the sale they sent me all the receipts and information along with the check for my share of the sale. My parents had 55 years' worth of their belongings packed away in their house, plus all the "good" things that they saved from both sets of grandparents' houses. At one point Tom said he was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff and the shortage of space to display it all, but he and Melody did a wonderful job of showcasing the items. I went through the house on the second day of the sale, and it was amazing - they managed to sell things that I wouldn't have carried out of there on a bet!

When we were faced with the prospect of selling a cherished family home and disposing of sixty years of accumulated possessions from approximately a thousand miles away Melody and Tom Kolke were our salvation. I had no prior experience with an estate sale, however when faced with the need to sell my mother's home, thought it sounded like a much better option than trying to self manage a garage sale. I am very happy that I chose this route. Melody performed exactly as promised - priced and arranged absolutely everything prior to the sale, managed the traffic on day of sale, and the house was spotlessly clean after they were finished. When it came time to move my parents, who lived in the same home for 64 years, I was overwhelmed with all that they had accumulated. After speaking with Melody and Tom we soon realized that we wouldn't have to deal with this situation by ourselves. We can honestly say that Melody and Tom are knowledgeable, experienced, honest and on top of things and we couldn't have been happier with our experience using them for the tag sale. They went far beyond my expectations! Other estate services told me my Grandmother didn't have anything of value. Imagine you are a woman that has a husband and 2 little kids living 3,000 miles away from a 3 bed/2 bath home with a car. You must liquidate everything the week before Christmas and you are emotionally over-the-top at the circumstances of having to travel and pack up. That would be how I felt when I contacted Melody. I can't even begin to thank Melody and Tom enough for all their hard work, prayers and well wishes on behalf of my daughter Robyn's "moving sale" April 19th & 20th, 2013. They made a very difficult and stressful time for us a lot easier. Although we were out of town for the sale, Tom and Melody kept us in the loop by phone and email the entire time. I cant say enough great comments about Melody and Tom's handling of my aunt's estate sale. All the contents of the house, basement, and garage were priced and sold. After the sale, the house was left cleaned up, with no trash left behind. I finally convinced my Dad to move near us in Georgia. The problem we faced was selling ALL his possessions he was taking with him. Tom and Melody Kolke are true professionals. From our first meeting on the phone I knew that they would do a good job in presenting our Mom's belongings in with the grace in which she lived. My siblings and I were in unity after Tom came to the house for a free evaluation of the estate. He pulled no punches and did not exaggerate his estimate of the value of the estate. We were relieved to know that he and Melody knew the value of items and we completely trusted them to sell our Mother's life time of homemaking. We gave them the house key and signed the contract. It was a turn key operations and we were relieved to turn this over to them. When my in-laws left all their possessions and houses to my husband we were completely overwhelmed. There was so much "stuff". 50 years of accumulation in two houses. Tom and Melody came in with their team and arranged and priced everything. They did all the advertising of the sale and took many pictures. We could not believe the amount of people who came to the sale. That alone speaks volumes about the reputation this company has but the personal touches are what impressed us the most. Tom and Melody Kolke are true professionals. From our first meeting on the phone I knew that they would do a good job in presenting our Mom's belongings in with the grace in which she lived. My siblings and I were in unity after Tom came to the house for a free evaluation of the estate. He pulled no punches and did not exaggerate his estimate of the value of the estate. We were relieved to know that he and Melody knew the value of items and we completely trusted them to sell our Mother's life time of homemaking. We gave them the house key and signed the contract. It was a turn key operations and we were relieved to turn this over to them. My siblings and I are very pleased with the gross sales and more importantly that our Mother's belongings were presented with loving care as we wished. I finally convinced my Dad to move near us in Georgia. The problem we faced was selling ALL his possessions he was taking with him. After living in the same home for more then 50 years, this was a task. We called several Estate Sale companies + chose Melody's Estate Sales to do the job. THANK GOODNESS. The took loads of pictures, advertised + conducted a GREAT sale in the middle of winter in Northern Indiana! My Dad (+ I) had no clue to the amount of money in " STUFF " We were shocked with the great check! When you hire a company, hire one with years of knowledge and experenice to do the job right ! We did Melody's Estate Sales ! Don't be fooled....we had one company tell us we did not have enough! Melody and her crew even found a pair of Hopalong Cassidy gloves they sold for 80 bucks! cant say enough great comments about Melody and Tom's handling of my aunt's estate sale. All the contents of the house, basement, and garage were priced and sold. After the sale, the house was left cleaned up, with no trash left behind. The best thing of all, I was vacationing in Mexico, while Melody kept sending me update e-mails on the progress of the 3-day sale. I did not have to lift a finger for the estate sale, and it was a great success. I highly recommend Melody and Tom, as I am a very satisfied customer.

Melody and Tom were asked to take on what I felt was a very large estate sale due to the amount of items that were available for sale. This would have been an incredibly daunting task for my siblings and I, particularly with all of us residing out of town. Melody and Tom were able to work with me very easily even though there were 800 miles between us. They were very professional and knowledgeable and took care of every detail including the sale of a car. They communicated very clearly what I should expect before the sale and answered all of my questions completely. I was out of town on vacation during the days of the sale but Melody kept me updated with the progress of the sale prep and the sale itself. My check was received within days. I can't even begin to thank Melody and Tom enough for all their hard work, prayers and well wishes on behalf of my daughter Robyn's "moving sale" April 19th & 20th, 2013. They made a very difficult and stressful time for us a lot easier. Although we were out of town for the sale, Tom and Melody kept us in the loop by phone and email the entire time. Not only was over 98% of Robyn's items sold, everything left over was put in neat piles so that we could dispose of quickly. And the house was left so neat, the cleaning crew we had hired for the day after, didn't have much to do.
